‘SECRET WEAPON’ & ‘HOMOSAPIEN’

Jack Daniel’s and The Whip have partnered up to create two brand spanking new cocktails fit for any rock n’ roll King or Queen.

Nathan from The Whip and a Jack Daniel’s mixologist got together to create these two taste sensations just before their storming set at The JD Set in Manchester. The first cocktail was named ‘Secret Weapon’ referencing the name of The Whip’s new single, with the second ‘Homosapien’, in honor of the classic punk track by Pete Shelly from Buzzcocks. Nathan said, “We wanted to have two cocktails that packed quite a punch – our Secret Weapon was definitely the chocolate liquor.”

The mixologist ran through the basics of cocktail making and introduced Nathan to the art of swizzling each drink once built and finished with ginger ale. “These cocktails are the ideal way to set up for a good night of rock n’ roll… We have been really looking forward to making these. You can’t play a JD Set and not make your very own Jack Daniel’s cocktail” said Nathan of the drink making experience;

Secret Weapon is a robust mix of Jack Daniel’s, Chambord, chocolate liquor and fresh lime juice all topped with ginger ale, a long refreshing cocktail perfect for any festival:

The Whip’s – Secret Weapon

- 50 ml Jack Daniels

- 10 ml Chambord liquor

- 10 ml chocolate liquor

- 10 ml fresh lime juice

Method
Add Jack Daniel’s, Chambord, chocolate liquor and lime juice to a tall glass full with ice, then top with ginger ale and a wedge of fresh lime.

Homosapien is a more tropical drink with Jack Daniel’s, Chambord, orange liquor, pineapple liquor and topped with ginger ale and fresh lime great for those mid summer evening sessions:

The Whip’s – Homosapien

- 50 ml Jack Daniel’s

- 35 ml cranberry juice

- 12 ml pineapple juice

- 12 ml orange juice

Method
Add Jack Daniel’s, cranberry juice, pineapple juice and orange juice to a tall glass full with ice, then top with ginger ale and a wedge of fresh lemon.
